Travelling downstream together – past steep slopes, gravel banks, and riparian islands. Rest on the river banks, learn more about the diversity of the flora and fauna in the National Park and keep an eye out for rare bird species. A truly unique experience.
National Park Rangers welcome your group in Orth an der Donau and accompany you to Schönau by bus. A brief introduction to paddling is followed by a boat trip on a side branch. Excitement grows when the boat paddles into the free-flowing section of the Danube and starts quickly drifting downstream. Eventually the group returns to the starting point in Orth an der Donau.
