During the guided walks along the paths in the Donau-Auen National Park, the National Park Rangers will set thematic priorities depending on the season, weather situation, water level, composition of the group and your personal interests. These walks are easy to manage with normal physical condition due to the flat course of the path and the individually agreed route lengths.
Our "specials" are particularly popular as themed excursions with fixed dates. These cover a seasonal range from birdsong in spring to wild herbs and fruits as well as night hikes to the autumnal deer rut and animal survival strategies in ice and snow. Join the national park rangers on these themed tours and learn amazing as well as touching things about the countless aspects and special features of the wild water forest on the river.
