Stork Village and Castle Marchegg

The unique tree colony of white storks near Marchegg is worth seeing, several hiking trails lead through the bordering March meadows and Marchegg Castle has currently been renovated. The stork house offers a diverse program, such as the daily guided tour to the white stork colony. Stroll along the many visitor trails through the old town of Marchegg and nature.

Auring Hohenau

The Auring is an organisation dedicated to wetlands bird species and their preservation. On the former grounds of a sugar factory in Hohenau, Auring maintains a wetlands habitat which has become a vital stopover and breeding grounds for a variety of bird species.
